Using Visual Studio Templates to get started with Map Suite

You can quickly get started with Map Suite by using one of the extensions from Visual Studio Marketplace. You can find templates from within Visual Studio or on the web by searching for “ThinkGeo” or “MapSuite”. These can be easily installed with just a few clicks.

The latest Visual Studio templates are available for all Map Suite UI controls, including WebAPI, iOS, Android, Desktop (WinForms), Desktop (WPF), Web (WebForms) and MVC Editions. The templates will run on Visual Studio 2015 and 2017. Details for finding and running the templates from within Visual Studio go to the Map Suite Project Template Guide here.

If you are a developer looking to build a GIS application the templates are an easy way to get started. You can modify the templates to meet all your mapping development requirements.
